Log In to the Desktop App
If you're having trouble logging in, please see our article here.
Accessing Settings
To access the desktop app settings, click the Settings (cog wheel) icon in the bottom-left corner of the application.
Application Settings
Theme – Switch between the Light and Dark application themes.
Account – This setting must remain Enabled in order to use the desktop application. If disabled, you will not be able to place or receive calls.
Auto Startup – When enabled, the desktop app will automatically launch when your computer starts.
In-App Notifications – When enabled, you'll receive notifications for incoming calls, messages, application status changes, and other events.
Always on Top – Keeps the desktop application visible above other windows, even when another application is selected.
Ringtone – When enabled, the app will play a ringtone for incoming calls.
Alert – When enabled, notification sounds will play for application alerts and updates.
Dial Pad Tone – When enabled, the app will play keypad tones as you enter numbers using the dial pad.
Default Keypad Mode – Determines which keypad mode is displayed after a call is connected.
- Call – Displays the standard dialing keypad, allowing you to place another outbound call if needed.
- DTMF – Displays the Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency keypad used to interact with automated phone systems, such as auto attendants (AAs), IVRs, conference bridges, and voicemail menus.
Ringtone Selection – Choose the ringtone the desktop app will use for incoming calls.
Default Contact List – Select which contact list opens by default when viewing your contacts. By default, this is set to All Contacts.
Time Format – Choose between 12-hour or 24-hour time formats for timestamps displayed throughout the application.
Concurrent Call Limit – Select the maximum number of simultaneous calls you can handle within the desktop app.
Devices
Audio
Input Device – Select the microphone the desktop app will use.
Output Device – Select the speaker or audio output device the desktop app will use.
Output Volume – Adjust the volume of audio played through the desktop application.
Auto Select Device – When enabled, the app will automatically switch to a preferred audio input or output device when one becomes available.
Answered Call Device Notification – When enabled, the app displays a notification showing which audio device is being used when a call is answered.
Video
Video Preview – When enabled, displays a preview of the currently selected camera.
Input Device – Select the camera the desktop app will use for video calls.
Notifications
Output Device – Choose which audio device notification sounds will play through.
Notification Volume – Adjust the volume of notification sounds.
Headset Integration
Headset – If your headset is supported, you can enable headset integration to use compatible features, such as answering or ending calls directly from the headset.
Language
Select the language used throughout the desktop application.
About Us
Opens our organization's About Us webpage.
Privacy Policy
Opens our organization's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy webpage.
Send Logs to Support
Use this option when requested by support or when reporting an issue.
